Help for Sandesh-Google Talk Bot

Why to use this Gtalk bot ?

You can send free unlimited SMS with your mobile number as sender via way2sms id. This bot is very usefull for the people who havnt free sms in their mobile. This is also usefull for the people who feel uneasy to type sms on their mobile(like me). No need to open way2sms.com or other sites and see stupid ads of hundreds of KBs to send SMS. You can send SMS using this bot at only cost of max 1KB instead of 100s. And for SVNITian users sometimes way2sms and other sites are blocked in CYBEROAM (:() than also you are able to send SMS through this Gtalk bot..

While surfing on net if you find any interesting lines or SMS just copy and paste in chat it will be in your(your friend's) mobile within seconds.

No Way2sms.com id? Register here.

You must heve registered Way2sms.com Mobile No.(Username) and password to use this service.If you dont hav Way2sms Id then Regiter here way2sms.com. Advantage of using way2sms.com over other sites(160by2..etc) is in this site sent SMS has your registerd mobile no. as sender number and they are not including any types of ads in SMS till now.

Simple Send SMS Via Way2sms id

Add msg2india@gmail.com to your chat list in Gmail or Gtalk and ping it for instructions or type commands.
To send SMS Enter /sms (then press enter key)
You will be asked for your way2sms registered mobile no.
Enter your 10 digit mobile no.

(msg2india):Enter ur way2sms Mobile no.
(me):9825098250

then you will be asked for ur way2sms password.

(msg2india):Enter ur way2sms password
(me):******

After that u have to enter mobile no. to whom u want to send SMS.

(msg2india):Send SMS to: (Mobile no.)
(me):9825098250

If you want to send SMS to many than you have to enter all mobile no. seperated by ";" semicolon without space for example..

(msg2india):Send SMS to: (Mobile no.)
(me):9825098250;9925099250

than enter your msg and when you complete it press enter key.

(msg2india):Enter SMS
(me):hi! this is Testing msg.. :)

You must use shift+enter key for new line in SMS instead of enter key. Maximum 140 character allowed in SMS.

Save Username and password for your email id for this Bot

If you save username and password than You need not to enter your username and password every time u want to send SMS. You can send SMS just in 2 steps by /sendto .
To save Username and password for your email id for this Bot type /reg than press enter key. You will be given link, your USER KEY and User ID.Goto given Link and Enter this User Key and User Id. Then Enter Way2sms Username and password to that form and click submit.

Send SMS with saved Username and Password.

If you have registered ur username and password for this email id for this bot than you need not to enter ur username and password every time in this mode. just type /sendto and press enter key.

After that u have to enter mobile no. to whom u want to send SMS.

Send SMS to own mobile

You can send SMS to your mobile in single step. You must have registered ur username and password for your email id for this Gtlak bot via /reg

Just type /sendme and press enter key. After that enter your msg and when you complete it press enter key.

View or Edit Contacts

To view saved contacts just type /contact and press enter key.
If you want to add or edit contact go to http://maulik.110mb.com/contact.html

Send sms from saved contacts

If you want to send sms from saved contacts just type /quicksms and press enter key.

After that u have to enter name(as per saved in contact) to whom u want to send SMS.

than enter your msg and when you complete it press enter key.

Send sms from saved contacts using Quicksms no.

If you are sending sms to someone very frequent than u can send sms by just entring his 1 or 2 digit quicksms no. instead of typing whole name every time
just type /quick and press enter key.

After that u have to enter quicksms number from saved contacts of whom u want to send SMS.

(msg2india):Enter quick sms No. in contacts
(me):1

It will send sms to the person who is stored as quick sms no 1 in contacts. After that enter your msg and when you complete it press enter key.

Send sms to group of saved contacts

If you are sending sms to many mobile at the same time you can make group of that mobile no. and save as same group name. To send sms to all mobile no. of some group just type /group and press enter key.

After that u have to enter Group name as saved in contacts

(msg2india):Enter group name(as saved in contacts)
(me):my_group

It will send sms to all the mobile numbers having my_group as group name in contacts. After that enter your msg and when you complete it press enter key.

Entered anything wrong enter "#" to reset

If you have entered anything wrong or want to discard message than enter #. It will reset bot.

Desktop application for Sending SMS "Sandesh"

You can use Desktop application "Sandesh 3.0" for sending SMS. You can download it here. It can be also usefull with rich features. Its 4th version is under developement. I am adding Contacts and smiles features to that. It will be completed after 12-15 Dec(after Endsemester exams.. :) ).
